The Role

Step is looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to own end-to-end recruiting efforts for a variety of roles across Engineering, Product, and Design. Hiring amazing talent is one of the most important areas for the entire company and this is a unique opportunity to join our recruiting team at an early stage. Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across various pipelines on Engineering, Product, and/or Design
  • Work directly with Step's CTO, Founders, and the leadership team on recruiting strategy to attract and hire top talent
  • Drive a variety of sourcing tools to engage passive talent in addition to owning inbound application buckets
  • Create white-glove candidate experiences for all candidates that engage in the recruiting process 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical recruiting experience working in a dynamic, fast-growing company
  • Care deeply about the experience of every candidate, no matter the outcome      
  • Passionate to get to know each candidate's background and motivations to align with company hiring needs 
  • Sweat the details to master your craft in recruiting
  • Collaborate well as a partner to hiring managers across Engineering, Product, and/or Design.

The team

Step was founded by financial industry veterans CJ MacDonald and Alexey Kalinichenko to provide teens and their families with financial tools for today’s modern-day banking needs and to promote financial literacy for the future. The founding team has 50+ years in combined financial technology experience across companies like Gyft, First Data, Square and Google.
