The Role

As a key member of the Performance Marketing Team, this role will sit at the head of our creative output for our internal brand studio leading the content strategy for our paid media channels driving creative, brand direction, influencer concepts, and product launch creative; focusing heavily on the ideation of creative briefs for paid media, the creation of brand-driven content, and top-level creative strategy. The ideal person is a creative doer who can to take a concept from idea to market by working cross-functionally and independently to create creative assets that will take Step’s paid content output to the next level and drive engagement and conversions.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategy, development, and creation of brand assets for new and existing feature launches supported by robust content pipelines 
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver content briefs for Performance Marketing and Influencer Marketing teams
  • Develop best-in-class and unique stand-out advertising creative across video, animation, and still formats.
  • Ad generation across all paid acquisition channels from Facebook, Snap, TikTok, and Google.
  • Leverage data and analyze ad performance and take creative insights for future ad recommendations.
  • Assist with design as necessary; ability to edit video a plus. 
  • Collaborate with design leads, content marketing, and copywriting team to create quality ads.
  • Ensure creatives are consistent with the company’s brand and design direction.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to deliverables.
  • Be a voracious consumer of Gen Z culture and highlight trends that can help inform new and creative marketing and product ideas

What We’re Looking For 

  • 5+ years of experience in creative advertising
  • Extensive experience creating video, static, motion creative ads
  • A strategic and experimental mindset with an ability to leverage data and insights to brainstorm ideas, make decisions and drive growth
  • A portfolio showcasing your work, process and your proficiency in delivering compelling creative ads and/or product.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and other relevant design tools.
  • Expert eye for creativity that resonates with and engages digitally native consumers.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to work autonomously, and hungry to solve difficult problems
  • Team-oriented mindset and the ability to work with a wide range of individuals
