1. Sponsor
The Step “Repay & Win” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Step Mobile, Inc., 380 Portage Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94306 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility
This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who: (a) are legal residents of the United States or the District of Columbia; (b) are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of participation; (c) have an active Step account in good standing; (d) have been approved and are eligible to borrow through Step EarlyPay; and (e) have successfully repaid at least one Step loan prior to November 18, 2025.
Employees, contractors, and immediate family or household members of the Sponsor or its affiliates are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Participation does not affect credit terms, eligibility or pricing. Borrowing more or repaying faster does not improve odds or prize value beyond the entry limits set herein.
3. Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins November 18, 2025 at 12:01 a.m. ET and ends January 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
4. How to Enter
Eligible participants receive one (1) entry for each on-time repayment of a subsequent Step loan during the Sweepstakes Period, up to four (4) entries total. No purchase, payment, or borrowing is required to enter or win.
Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE): To enter without repaying a loan, click HERE and submit your full name, street address, telephone number, and email address. AMOE entrants may submit up to four (4) AMOE entries (not to exceed one entry every two weeks) during the Sweepstakes Period, for a maximum of four (4) entries total, regardless of entry method. AMOE entries must be received by January 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET and have an equal chance of winning. Incomplete or invalid entries will not be accepted.
5. Prizes
Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected. Each winner will receive a prize credited as Step Points:
For borrowers: reimbursement of the most recently repaid loan amount during the Sweepstakes Period (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) varies by winner depending on loan repayment amount).
For AMOE entrants: ARV is capped at $50.
Prizes will be credited directly to winners’ Step accounts within two (2) business days of verification. Total ARV of all prizes: Not to exceed $5,000. Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash value. Sponsor may issue IRS Form 1099-MISC for any prize with a value of $600 or more.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
Ten (10) winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor on or about January 19, 2026, from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via the Step App or email. Each winner must have an active Step account to receive the prize. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to respond within forty-eight hours, an alternate winner may be selected.
7. Odds
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Taxes and Conditions
All applicable taxes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Sponsor may issue IRS Form 1099-MISC for prizes valued at $600 or greater, as required by law. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
9. Publicity Release
Except where prohibited, participation constitutes permission for Sponsor to use each winner’s name, likeness, and city/state for promotional purposes without further compensation.
10. General Conditions
Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical issues, or other factors compromise its integrity. Any attempt to manipulate entries or repayment behavior will result in disqualification.
11. Limitation of Liability
By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance of any prize.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
All disputes arising out of or related to this Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California and resolved individually, without resort to class action. Participants waive the right to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or special damages.
13. Winner List
