Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. MUST BE 14 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION. U.S. LAW GOVERNS. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES YOU AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES (the “Official Rules”), WHICH ARE A CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.

The rewards program is not offered by or affiliated with Evolve Bank & Trust. It is fully managed by Step.

1. Sponsor

The Step Summer “Double Your Paycheck” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is administered by Step Financial LLC, 380 Portage, Palo Alto, CA 94306 (the “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes consists of five (5) bi-weekly sweepstakes periods (each, a “Sweepstakes Period”), each of which is subject to these Official Rules.

2. Eligibility

This Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who meet ALL of the following qualifications at the time of participation:

• Is a legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia;

• Is at least fourteen (14) years of age. Entrants between the ages of 14 and 17 must have the express prior consent of a parent or legal guardian to participate, and a parent or legal guardian must execute any required Declaration/Release on their behalf before any prize will be awarded;

• Has downloaded and registered on the Step App and holds an active Step Account; and

• Has received at least one qualifying Direct Deposit (as defined in Section 5) during the applicable Sweepstakes Period.

In the event a Participant wins, their Step Account must remain open and in good standing to receive a prize. Eligibility is subject to verification at any time. Employees of Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families (e.g., spouses, parents, domestic partners, children, siblings) and/or household members are not eligible to participate. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations. Void where prohibited. 3. Sweepstakes Event Periods

The Sweepstakes begins on June 1, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. ET and ends on August 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Each individual Sweepstakes Period and its corresponding drawing date are set forth in the Sweepstakes Date Chart below:

A participant may only win once during the entire Sweepstakes (across all five Sweepstakes Periods). Winning in an earlier Sweepstakes Period disqualifies a participant from winning in any subsequent Sweepstakes Period.

4. Mandatory Third Party Platform Disclosure

This Sweepstakes in its entirety is not endorsed, sponsored, or affiliated with any social media, game, or gaming platform (“Third Party Platforms”). Third Party Platforms have their own terms of use and privacy policies, which participants must agree to in order to participate. Sponsor has no control over the terms and conditions of any Third Party Platform. Information provided specific to this Sweepstakes will be used by Sponsor in accordance with these Official Rules.

5. How to Enter

There are two (2) methods of entry: (1) the Direct Deposit Method of Entry; and (2) the Alternative Method of Entry (“AMOE”) described below. Each Participant may accumulate entries as described below, subject to the maximums stated herein. AMOE entries have an equal chance of winning as Direct Deposit entries. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.

5.1  Direct Deposit Method of Entry

To enter via this method, Participant must receive a qualifying direct deposit of at least $250 USD (payroll, government benefits, or other eligible funds) into their Step Account during the applicable Sweepstakes Period (“Qualifying Direct Deposit”). Deposits from Wise are not eligible for this offer. Each Qualifying Direct Deposit received during a Sweepstakes Period constitutes one (1) automatic entry for that period — no additional action is required.

Participants may earn additional bonus entries in a given Sweepstakes Period as follows:

• New DD Users — First Qualifying Direct Deposit Bonus: A Participant who has never previously received a qualifying direct deposit to their Step Account and who receives their first-ever Qualifying Direct Deposit during a Sweepstakes Period will receive one (1) additional bonus entry for that Sweepstakes Period (total of 2 entries for that period from this method).

• Existing DD Users — Referral Bonus: A Participant who already has an active direct deposit to their Step Account may earn up to five (5) additional bonus entries per Sweepstakes Period by referring friends who successfully set up and receive a Qualifying Direct Deposit of $250 or more to their Step Account during that same Sweepstakes Period. Each such successful referral constitutes one (1) bonus entry, up to a maximum of five (5) referral bonus entries per Sweepstakes Period.

5.2  Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE)

To avoid entering via the Direct Deposit Method of Entry, a Participant may enter via the AMOE instead. To enter via AMOE, visit this form and provide all of the following information:

• First and Last Name;

• Street Address;

• Telephone Number; and

• Email Address.

AMOE entries that do not include all required information will be deemed ineligible in Sponsor’s sole discretion. All AMOE entrants must be at least fourteen years of age (14) and have parental consent to participate. AMOE entries have an equal chance of winning as entries submitted via the Direct Deposit Method.

5.3  Entry Deadlines

All entries for a given Sweepstakes Period must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. ET on the Sweepstakes Entry End Date for that period as set forth in the Sweepstakes Date Chart in Section 3. Entries received after that deadline will not be considered. Incomplete, garbled, corrupted, or illegible entries are void and will not be accepted. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, delayed, destroyed, misdirected, or incomplete entries.

6. Things to Remember

Unless otherwise stated herein, you may not retroactively sign up. No entries will be given credit before or after the applicable Sweepstakes Period Entry End Date. Any attempt to game or tamper with the fair play of the Sweepstakes, create fake accounts, use automated systems or bots, or otherwise undermine the integrity of the promotion will result in immediate disqualification and may subject the individual to legal liability.

7. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during each Sweepstakes Period.

8. Winner Selection and Prizes

For each Sweepstakes Period, two (2) winners will be selected by random drawing from among all Qualified Entries received during that period. Drawings will take place on or about 12:00 p.m. PT on the applicable Drawing Date set forth in the Sweepstakes Date Chart in Section 3, and will be conducted by a representative of Sponsor.

Each of the two (2) Selected Entrants for a given Sweepstakes Period will be awarded a cash prize equal to the amount of their most recent Qualifying Direct Deposit to Step received during that period, up to a maximum of $1,500 per winner (“Double Your Paycheck” prize). Prizes will be deposited into the Selected Entrant’s Step Account within two (2) business days of verification, provided the account is open and in good standing.

The Prize Schedule is as follows:

Selected Entrants will be notified via direct message through the Step App, or via email. For Selected Entrants who entered via AMOE, notification will be sent to the email address provided at time of entry. Selected Entrants must respond within forty-eight (48) hours of notification or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate will be selected. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a Selected Entrant, the authorized account holder of the Step Account submitted at the time of entry will be deemed the Participant.

9. Prize Conditions

Winning a prize may be a taxable event. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the Selected Entrant. Selected Entrants may be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the approximate retail value of any awarded prize. All federal, state, or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from this Sweepstakes will be the sole responsibility of the Selected Entrant. Minors who win a prize must have a parent or legal guardian execute any required Declaration/Release and provide any required tax documentation before the prize will be awarded.

Except where prohibited by law, entry and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor and its affiliated companies to use the Selected Entrant’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state of residence for promotional or advertising purposes in any media, without further compensation. All entries are subject to verification prior to the awarding of prizes.

10. Prize Notifications

Except where prohibited, depending upon the prize value or type, Selected Entrants may be required to execute a Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, a Publicity Release, a W-9 form, and/or a Tax Acceptance Form (“Declaration/Release”). Selected Entrants may be required to show proof of their age before being awarded a prize without parental consent, or may be required to get parental consent before receiving a prize. Entrants under 18 are required to provide parental consent before receiving a prize. Selected Entrants forfeit the prize if they do not respond to the prize notification within the specified time period. Any documents supplied to Selected Entrants must be signed and returned by the date and/or time indicated within such documents, except where prohibited. If a Selected Entrant fails to sign and return such documents within that time, or if a Selected Entrant is found to be ineligible, or if a Selected Entrant does not comply with the Official Rules, then that Selected Entrant may be disqualified and an alternate entry may be selected. Given the time sensitive nature of some prizes, Selected Entrants may have fewer than 24 hours to respond to prize notification.

11. Publicity

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each Participant irrevocably grants Sponsor and its respective successors, assigns, and licensees the right to use such Participant’s name, submitted photographs, videos, reels, and/or biographical information in any and all media for any purpose, including without limitation commercial, advertising, and promotional purposes, and in connection with the Website, this Sweepstakes, or other promotions, and hereby releases Sponsor from any liability with respect thereto, unless prohibited by law.

12. General Conditions

By participating, and except where prohibited, Participants agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes in whole or in part if fraud, technical failure, or any factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or attempting to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes.

Participants may not enter with multiple identities or use any automated system, bot, or other device or artifice to enter or obtain more than the maximum number of qualified entries. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. Caution: any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be in violation of criminal and civil laws and will result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages (including attorney’s fees) to the fullest extent of the law, including criminal prosecution.

13. Limitations of Liability

If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the Participant’s sole remedy is another entry in the same Sweepstakes Period (if still open) or the following Sweepstakes Period. Except where prohibited, Participants agree to release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor and each of its respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents (collectively, “Releasees”) from and against any claims, damages, disability, attorneys’ fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages, or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from: (i) use, redemption, acceptance, possession, ownership, or misuse of any prize; (ii) participation in any activity or event offered in connection with the prize; (iii) use of any facility, service, or accommodation related to the prize; or (iv) participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or in this Sweepstakes generally.

The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, unreadable, inaccurate, garbled, or unintelligible entries, communications, or affidavits; (ii) telephone system, computer hardware, software, or other technical malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays, or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by the prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (v) any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes.

In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Sweepstakes by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to pandemic, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation (each, a “Force Majeure” event), Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will, if possible, select the winners from all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date.

14. Disputes and Governing Law

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION THAT CANNOT BE RESOLVED BETWEEN PARTICIPANT AND ANY RELEASEE ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THIS SWEEPSTAKES OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS, AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY), NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00), AND IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS’ FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN, AND PARTICIPANT HEREBY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES NOT TO EXCEED TEN DOLLARS ($10.00); AND (4) PARTICIPANT’S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY), AND PARTICIPANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.

Disputes regarding these Official Rules and/or this Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California. Decisions of Sponsor are binding and final. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any provision in these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

15. Sweepstakes Results

For Sweepstakes results and/or a copy of these Official Rules, within 120 days of the end of the Sweepstakes, send an email to contest@step.com with the subject line: “Step Inc. #StepSummerSweepstakes2026.”
