The challenge
“WHAT'S ONE MONEY TIP YOU WISH SOMEONE HAD TOLD YOU AT 18?”
Make a 60–90 second vertical video that answers this question. Teach it, act it out, make it a skit, make it a story. Hook us in the first two seconds and make it impossible to scroll past. Use the hashtags #StepsNextBeast and #contest and tag Step.
How to enter
Deadline: Sunday, November 22, 11:59 PM PT.

Post your video on TikTok, Instagram (feed post or Reel), or YouTube Shorts from a public account.

Put #StepsNextBeast and #contest in your caption and tag Step. Both hashtags are required.

The rules
Follow all eight to be eligible. See the full official rules HERE.

Make it yours.
Original work only. No reposts, no stolen formats passed off as your own, no fully AI-generated videos. AI tools for editing are fine.

No music. None.
Not even the platform’s sound library or trending sounds. Voiceover, dialogue and natural sound only. This is what lets Step repost your video anywhere.
- 03
Only your footage.
Use footage you shot yourself. No clips from movies, TV, other creators or stock libraries.
- 04
Education, not advice.
Don’t tell people what to buy, invest in or give financial advice, and don’t promise results (like “this will raise your credit score”).
- 05
Step is optional.
If you mention Step, don’t make claims about what it does or guarantees. We’d rather see your idea than an ad.
- 06
No other brands.
Other companies’ logos or products can’t be the focus of your video.
- 07
Keep it clean.
Nothing hateful, sexual, violent, dangerous or mocking a real person. Anyone else on camera must be 18+.
- 08
Stay safe.
Don’t show account numbers, cards, balances, your address or anyone’s personal info.

Three rounds, six weeks, one hire. Top 25 announced the week of November 30.
